And, although the statement struck me as awfully sexist at first, I've gotta agree with you.  Women are "a superior species in sports."  I've been teaching college kids here in Utah (Utah, Westminster, and USU) for about 15 years and I've yet to have a negative experience with a female athlete (and I've had a large number of them in my classes).  They've all been great kids. In fact, on the whole, they're more interesting and engaging than are most other students.

Can't necessarily say that about their male counterparts.</description>
